The Sarsfields ladies minor footballers edged out Celbridge in a high scoring encounter played in Celbridge this morning. The final score was 7-11 to 6-05.
The weekend of February 18th and 19th will be a busy one for Sarsfields as the minors face off with rivals Moorefield on sunday morning. Both the Senior and Senior B footballers get their seasons started with pre season Cup games
Our U-14 ladies will compete in Group B of the Kildare Feile on Saturday 18th February.

Ladies Football County Minor trials
An Extraordinary General Meeting of the ladies section of Sarsfields will be held next Wednesday 21st December at 8pm in the committee room in Sarsfields clubhouse.
This meeting is being held to discuss the election of a chairperson for the ladies section.

In a repeat of U14 2010 final which was won in extra time by the
Sarsfields girls, this was another epic encounter which ended with
only a score between the teams.
The Sarsfields Ladies section are looking for Managers/ mentors for the following positions for our underage, Minor and Senior teams for 2012.
The Sarsfields Ladies AGM 2011 will take place in committee room Sarsfields on Thursday 8th Dec 2011 at 8pm.
