Sarsfields and Moorefield clash on a regular basis but the meeting of the two clubs on friday night will have a unique twist.
The two clubs' second strings will meeting in the Junior hurling championship in the Curragh venue at 7:30.
It is a measure of the progress made by both Sarsfields and our Curragh neighbours that both clubs can now field second strings.
The game will be Sarsfields second outing in the 2011 Junior hurling championship. The first outing ended in a fine win over Kilcock.
Sarsfields are managed by club stalwart Paul Murray.
