Ladies Football - PRE AGM Workshop on 17th Nov - Invitation to clubs

A letter from Kildare Ladies Football Chairperson.

A Chara

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to you and your Club for all the hard work in the development of Ladies Gaelic Football within
county Kildare.

As you are aware, in the coming weeks the Ladies Football County Board will hold our AGM. As a result a “Pre AGM workshop” is organised for
Thursday 17th November at 8 pm SHARP in The Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge.
The main objective of this workshop will be to examine the personnel required to continue the development of Kildare Ladies Gaelic Football. The workshop will outline the duties and qualities required for each of the officerships/committees involved within a County Board. This is also a requirement under the “Merit Based Funding”
programme 2011.

We would like to invite the Chairperson, Secretary, Development Officer, PRO and any other interested persons from your club to come along on the night. It is important that we can get a committed and
motivated group together to ensure that all current structures in the county are reviewed, any changes necessary are put in place for the future and the workload involved is equally distributed.

You may not be interested in a role on a committee yourself but you may know people within your club who would be excellent to have involved.

It is important all clubs feel part of this process and it is imperative that your club is involved. This is just another step to the future development for the sport in our County but this can only
happen with your help. We will be in contact with you in the coming days to confirm your clubs attendance and numbers attending from your club.

I look forward to hearing your views and opinions and seeing as many people as possible in attendance at the workshop.

Regards,

Joe O’ Donoghue
Kildare Ladies Football Chairperson
